Full moon Kennels is looking for an experienced, dependable Pet Groomer to join our salon! 

Full or Part time available.? 

This position is a great fit for a confident groomer who enjoys working independently and wants the flexibility to manage their grooming day while having the benefit of an established client flow. 

Because you will be working independently in the salon, previous professional grooming experience and strong animal handling skills are required. 

Responsibilities 

• Provide professional bathing, haircut, and nail trimming services 
• Groom a variety of dog breeds, sizes, coat types, and styles 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming environment 
• Answer the phone and schedule grooming clients as needed 
• Communicate professionally with pet owners about grooming needs, preferences, coat condition, and recommendations

Requirements 

• Previous professional grooming experience required 
• Strong animal handling skills 
• Ability to work independently and confidently without another groomer present 
• Ability to groom a variety of breeds and coat types 
• Strong customer service and communication skills 
• Dependable, organized, and professional 
• Passion for working with animals and providing quality care 
• Groomers must provide and maintain their own professional grooming too 

Our facility works closely with a number of?animal rescues, giving the unique opportunity to provide grooming services to rescue dogs in-house and help them look and feel their best while they wait for their forever homes. 

We are also open to expanding our services to include cat grooming. Experience grooming cats is not required, but?we are excited to explore the possibility of adding feline grooming services with the right groomer.
